IT Security & Systems Engineer

Aquanow, a leading infrastructure and liquidity provider that provides institutional and enterprise application platforms for digital assets, is looking for an IT Lead to join our technology team!

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly-experienced team and contribute to the development of a high-growth trading and technology company.

Lead the day-to-day operations of the IT department.

Provide support (L2, L3) for application, IT, and security requests and incidents, both virtually and onsite.

Manage and execute IT project delivery, encompassing M&A, integrations, automations, deployments, and compliance Own and manage operational processes, including multi-level support for IT services, application technical support, and cloud SaaS Enhance security and compliance across IT systems, including IAM, endpoint security (MDM solutions like Kandji or JAMF), and SaaS security for applications like Google Workspace, Okta, and AWS.

Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, utilization tracking, and disposal.

Manage technical vendor relationships and vendor escalations.

Drive implementation and improvement of new technologies, capabilities, frameworks, and methodologies.

Bachelor's degree in related IT field and 5 years of relevant work experience.

Proven experience in scripting to automate complex IT problems (language flexible) Solid understanding of infrastructure architecture, networking, virtualization, identity, security and storage.

Experience with upgrading systems and applications, patch management, performance tuning, monitoring, alerting and disaster recovery.

Good understanding of network components switches, routers, firewalls, VPN tunnels and configuration of end user devices and wireless access points.

Over 5 years of IT experience, with expertise in Security and Application support This includes working with remote team members.
