We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Paint Process Engineer. This is a high-impact role focused on optimizing and maintaining paint application processes that directly influence product quality, operational efficiency, and environmental compliance.
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Designing, implementing, and improving paint processes for new and existing products
Monitoring and analyzing paint line performance to ensure consistent product quality
Troubleshooting and resolving paint application issues to minimize downtime
Developing and maintaining documentation including work instructions and process flow diagrams
Supporting product launches and collaborating with design, quality, and production teams
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards related to paint operations
Managing paint materials, equipment, and technical interactions with suppliers
Leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies
Mandatory Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a paint or coating role
Solid understanding of paint chemistry, application technologies (e.g., powder coating, E-coat), and surface preparation
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Location: Cambridge, Ontario
Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000
