Service Technician

Service Technician – Charleston, SC DISHER is partnering with a leading medium-sized technology company with its own solutions and products consisting of mobile transport robots for industrial material handling environments.

As the Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in building custom logistic and production processes from the ground up.

What you will get to do:

Repair and service electronic and mechanical robotic systems both onsite and offsite.

Assemble and electrically commission driverless transport systems and picking systems.

Provide temporary shift support after commissioning at customer sites.

Analyze and correct errors and malfunctions in automated systems.

Communicate repair needs effectively to project managers and after-sales teams.

Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.

Conduct preventive maintenance on robotic systems.

Train end-users on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.

What will make you successful:

Experience with electronics, automated systems, and AGVs is a plus.

Proficiency in using Windows and Windows applications (Office 365).

Basic network troubleshooting skills.

Ability to learn and adapt to new software environments.

Valid US driver’s license for travel outside the home state.

Must pass a drug screening.

Certification in robotics or a related field is an advantage.
