Migration of virtual machines to modernized vCenter platforms (on-prem and GCVE).

Ongoing operational support for Windows and VMware infrastructure.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled contractor to join our Windows and VMware team for a data center modernization project. The role focuses on migrating virtual machines from an existing vCenters to a combination of on-premises and Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) vCenters. The contractor will also support day-to-day operations with the Windows team and may participate in on-call rotation

Top Skills:

-Windows Server administration (including Active Directory, GPO, DFS, DNS, DHCP)

-VMware expertise (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, SRM, HCX)

-Cloud experience (Google Cloud VMware Engine - GCVE, Google Cloud Platform - GCP)

-Security and compliance knowledge (Windows security hardening, patching, vulnerability management)

-Scripting skills (PowerShell)
