Requirement: 16yrs of age or older, workers permit if 15.

Hours: 8:30am-2:30pm Monday - Friday

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the district grounds, facilities, and schools as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job succesfully, an individual must be able to perform each essentail duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. In addition to the requirements listed below, regular attendance is an essential function of this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mowing (push), trimming, weed wacking.

Planting flowers/trees, pulling weeds.

General yard work/maintaince.

Move furniture and equipment within or between buildings as required for various activities and as directed by the supervisor or principal.

Cooperates with and works in a courteous manner with staff, administrators and the public.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Buildings and Grounds, Building Principals, Superintendent of Schools, or the Board of Education. OTHER:

Potential employee must be available for the majority of the summer work days.
