Job Summary & Essential Functions
Perform various assembly operations as assigned by the production supervisor.
Operate a variety of equipment, for example: conformal coating, singulation machines, and start to train on wave solder needed to fulfill customer requirements
Assemble electrical or electromechanical devices or components using a variety of hardware/tools
Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship IPC-610 standard for all classes
Perform work with minimal supervision and instruction
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Mechanically inclined
Ability to use tools and testing devices
Basic math computational and measurement skills
Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts
Ability to problem solve issues involving multiple variables and limited standardization
Required Experience & Education
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of relevant job experience preferred
Certification in IPC -610
