Job Summary

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a vital role in the Operations team by managing employee scheduling, tracking time-off, and ensuring adequate shift coverage. This position supports seamless operational flow through detailed planning, clear communication, and accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled in Excel and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Manage employee time-off requests and ensure fair and policy-compliant scheduling.

Monitor schedule changes and communicate updates with relevant departments.

Accurately track employee absences and maintain up-to-date records for payroll and reporting.

Advertise and assign overtime slots, ensuring proper shift coverage.

Prepare and distribute employee schedules in an organized and timely manner.

Support the development and implementation of a time-off management system prior to the deployment of the timekeeping system.

Address and resolve scheduling conflicts as needed.

Generate and distribute performance and scheduling reports as required.

Collaborate with HR, payroll, and department managers for smooth scheduling operations.

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree required.

1-2 years of experience in a scheduling or administrative support role.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.

Prior use of scheduling systems or workforce management tools.
