Transit Data Analyst

Description and Essential Functions Responsible for accurate collection, analysis, and dissemination of transit data across GMT's service areas and operational units.

This includes but is not limited to: * Identify and refine performance metrics and tools to better evaluate data management effectiveness via the GMT Performance Dashboard and other reports * Monitor current and emerging reports, studies, legislation, and technology related to data management systems * Ensuring data integrity and the development of quality outputs for the organization * Creation of transit reports, plans and presentations * Participate in presentations made to members, public officials, and the general public * Help maintain data management policies, procedures, and SOPs * Design, launch, and analyze transit surveys * Assist with staffing, community, and public outreach events * Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Planning, Public Administration, or a related field; experience writing comprehensive documents and reports; ability to analyze large data sets and an analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving Essential Job Skills and Abilities: Must possess excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google.

Ability to perform multiple functions in a fast-paced environment is required.
