WORKFORCE SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE 4

The Position Workforce Services Representatives provide a broad range of services in accordance with the Workforce Investment Act; assist job seeking customers and business customers seeking qualified applicants; and provide priority employment services to eligible veterans and disabled veterans as defined by the Department of Labor.

Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.

The Workforce Services Representative 4 promotes programs and services to the business community.

Preferred candidates will have a strong background in sales, marketing and recruiting.

Responsibilities include common sales techniques such as cold calling, presentations to small and large audiences, networking to build and maintain relationships within the business community and solicit job listings for DETR's EmployNV system using these techniques.

Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others.

This job will consist of both office and field work within the community, so a valid driver's license is required.

The position may at times be required to work flexible work hours to include weekends or hours outside of the traditional 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule.
