Job Title: Welder/Fabricator
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication, particularly with thin gauge stainless steel and aluminum. This role involves fabricating custom parts for dust collection and ventilation systems used in heavy manufacturing companies. We are open to both experienced candidates and entry-level applicants who have a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
Fabricate custom parts using thin gauge materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
Read and interpret blueprints and perform layout, tacking, and welding seams.
Use various sheet metal fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, grinders, rollers, saws, and more.
Work with 16 to 14 gauge sheet metal and duct work.
Perform MIG welding in a custom environment.
Ensure accurate measurements and adherence to blueprints.Essential Skills
Experience with MIG welding in a custom environment.
Proficiency in fabricating thin gauge metals.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong tape measure skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with press operators, plasma cutters, drills, and saws.
Prior experience with TIG welding is a plus.

Work Environment
You will be working in a driven company with a small company mentality where teamwork is essential. This role is based in a metal shop with welding and fabricating noise and smell. The job shop environment requires adaptability to different needs and product requirements. The shop is new and well-maintained, providing a good working environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
