Air Liquide Large Industries provides essential industrial gas and energy solutions to our customers, crucial for their industrial production. We operate an extensive network of over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines across the U.S., delivering vital gases like oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and syngas to major industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, refining, and steel.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

We are seeking an Operational Technology Manager to lead the reliable deployment of OT infrastructure and cybersecurity across our production facilities. As the principal Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the OT domain, you will support the implementation of key technologies aligned with Air Liquide's strategic goals.

Define the OT/IT architecture and standards for production plants, ensuring alignment with Group and Hub Standards while adapting to the best industry practices.

Serve as the OT Cybersecurity Protection Coordinator, facilitating OT Governance teams and resources in implementing robust cybersecurity processes.

Act as the design authority for strategic OT Cybersecurity initiatives, overseeing aspects like Integrated Patch Management and Asset Discovery.

Lead the virtualization program for control systems, managing design documentation and conducting thorough testing before field implementation.

Contribute to the development and deployment of Group Technical Standards within the OT domain.

Coordinate with Local OT Protection Coordinators to support the implementation of OT improvement programs, developing standard operating procedure templates.

Implement a tracking system for all OT equipment across sites for ongoing updates and assessments.

Support continuous OT improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and flexibility in alignment with business strategies.

Collaborate with the SIO center to devise effective data communication and control strategies.

Educate and train plant automation specialists and support their needs for improved knowledge.

Ensure successful application of key OT designs and programs in critical upgrades and initiatives.

Provide level II support for OT issues at locations and assist in troubleshooting as necessary.

Participate in the development and automation of truck loading systems, ensuring effective communication of key information.

Engage in the Worldwide Industrial Management OT/IT Community of Practice.

Benchmark and share best practices across various business units globally.

Are you a MATCH?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field is required.

At least 10 years of operational or engineering experience in industrial communications, networking, or computer control systems.

Must possess valid employment authorization in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.

Advanced knowledge of Air Liquide's Operational/Information technologies.

Proficient in computer systems concepts including networking, cybersecurity, and virtualization platforms like Nutanix.

Familiarity with the control logic of various industrial systems (e.g., ABB, DeltaV, Foxboro).

Possess an agile mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas effectively.

Demonstrated personnel management skills and a strong attention to detail.

Adept in using Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).

Willingness to travel across the U.S. and Canada as needed.

Language Skills Required

Strong command of English; proficiency in French is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Full range of motion and ability to lift up to 20 Kg.

Ability to navigate easily within various plant environments.

Availability for on-call support as needed.

Willing to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
