CAD Technician

Job DescriptionDescription:

Our company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cad Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our Public Infrastructure market in preparing and producing accurate and reliable survey and civil data, plan sets, plats, and varies other drafting duties. As a Cad Technician, you will play an integral role in ensuring that our projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the preparation of civil and survey data using AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Virtual Surveyor software.

· Collaborate with the survey team to ensure accuracy and completeness of survey data.

· Collaborate with the civil team to ensure accuracy and completeness of civil data.

· Create detailed drawings and maps for projects by using conventional survey data, UAV (drone) surveying data, and 3D Scanning Data.

· Conduct research and analysis of the data.

· Maintain, organize, and manage the data and files.

· Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies related to civil and survey data.

Requirements:

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in surveying, civil engineering, Cad drafting, or a related field, but not required.

· Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation, but not required.

· Experience in civil and or surveying and mapping, but not required.

· Knowledge of civil and or surveying principles and practices, but not required.

· The ideal candidate is detailed oriented, organized, excels at multitasking, and meeting deadlines.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Willingness to work overtime as needed.
