What you do on a typical day

Manage team performance; develop associates by providing training and coaching

Manage coordinators and help them grow within their role

Instruct, inform, and support the employees of the department, so that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and correctly, in accordance with the applicable standards (including KPI’s and productivities)

Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams

Make recommendations regarding new hires, terminating contracts, performance evaluations and promotions

Ensure that documents work instructions of processes are up to date and are being followed by the department

Continually strive to improve the processes of your department

You report to the Shiftleader

What do you need to succeed at GXO

You have at least three years of experience in a similar (leading) position

You have good communication skills in English (reading, speaking and writing), speaking / writing / reading Dutch is a plus

You have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude, and you have a self-starting ability

You have good knowledge of office software and WMS functionality
