Medical Assistant Front and Back Office

Newport Children's Medical Group provides expert, compassionate pediatric care for children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents, at its locations in Newport Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, and Laguna Beach.

Job Type: Full-time, Direct hire

Pay: $20 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 hours shift

Primary Responsibilities:

FRONT OFFICE:

Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization by efficiently scheduling appointments.

Keeps patient appointments on schedule by verifying patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to the appointment; preparing necessary documents

Maintain optimum patient confidentiality and safety.

BACK OFFICE:

Room and take patient vitals

Review medical history

Assist the provider with patient care

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimally 1 year experience as a MA

Must love working with children

Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly (written and verbal)

MA Certified

Active CPR

Bilingual Spanish OR Chinese
