Nursing - Assistant Director of Nursing

Carolina Meadows, one of the nation's foremost continuing-care retirement communities is looking for a dedicated RN with 3 - 5 years long-term care nursing experience and Infection Control certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience to guide our skilled nursing team into a new era. We are in the process of building a new state-of-the-art complex to continue our mission; to enrich and improve the lives of our residents and those connected to our community. We do this by continuously striving to be the best place to live and work.

This role is primarily responsible for supervising the overall operations of

the Nursing Department in accordance with current state and federal

regulations along with the Director of Nursing.

Additional duties include care plans, resident care, infection control and supervisory responsibilities.

Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong interpersonal and leadership skills and be knowledgeable on general nursing principles and state and federal health regulations. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications.
