ABOUT THE POSITION

Seattle Rep is seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Manager to collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Marketing & Sales on social media strategy, content creation, and the management of Seattle Rep's marketing projects-including overseeing the social and advertising calendars. This individual is highly approachable and enthusiastic about working closely with all departments including Artistic, Marketing, Communications, Development, Patron Relations, Front of House, Engagement, and Production support for Seattle Rep's mission and audience engagement goals.

Typical Duties Include:

Social Media & Content Creation Coordination

Upload and schedule approved social media content and graphics in Sprout Social.

Monitor Seattle Rep's social media accounts, responding to relevant comments, and engaging with our followers across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

Develop and write engaging content across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok.

Ability to capture photos, video, and create Reels and TikToks for promotion of productions, engagement programs, and Development initiatives.

Respond to patron inquiries and comments in a timely manner, including outside of standard business hours when needed.

Coordinate artist interviews and social media content opportunities with the Artistic and Production teams.

Manage influencer, ambassador, and partnership campaigns to expand Seattle Rep's reach and increase audience growth.

Strong understanding of the unique audiences, features, and best practices for major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.

Collaborate with the Creative Director and Video Producer to produce compelling graphics and video content that highlight productions, engagement programs, and community initiatives.

Maintain a comprehensive social media calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns and organizational initiatives.

Assist in developing TikTok content strategies in partnership with the Associate Director of Marketing & Sales.

Research and keep up to date on effective copywriting, hashtag strategies, AI, and SEO practices to enhance visibility, gain followers, and build audiences that are unique to each platform. Advertising & Media Asset Coordination

Collaborate with the Marketing Directors, Creative Director, and external advertising agencies to maintain a comprehensive advertising/media schedule in Excel, tracking deadlines, ad specifications, copy needs, and more.

Manage and update all advertising timelines and assets within Seattle Rep's Social Media/Advertising Trello Board, ensuring accurate tracking of deadlines and deliverables.

Maintain marketing flow charts, tracking media purchases, and assigning appropriate pay codes.

Oversee graphics requests, managing the collection, routing, proofing, and timely delivery of approved ads to contractors and media outlets.

Process and track all advertising invoices, ensuring timely submission with correct pay codes.

Submit Seattle Rep events to community and media outlets, such as Seattle Center and Uptown Alliance, upon approval from leadership. General Marketing Support

Coordinate Subscriber Discount Program and maintain partnership with local businesses and restaurants.

Support marketing emails, digital advertising, and print as needed by pulling lists in Tessitura, coordinating copy and deadlines.

Support specific education and development marketing projects, as needed

Creates and oversees KPI tracking reporting by campaign.

Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience in marketing, social media management, or public relations.

Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with an understanding of different social media platforms

Experience managing digital content and social media accounts for an organization or brand.

Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a passion for teamwork and diplomacy.

Proficiency in a variety of different social media platforms and business tools, project management tools, content creation, and graphic design software (Canva, Photoshop, etc).

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Desired Qualifications:

Tessitura or other CRM software

Understanding of Facebook Business Suite

Photography and video editing skills are a plus
