Job Description
MBA Event Coordinator
Under the direction of MBA program leadership, the MBA Event Coordinator will directly oversee all events and materials associated with the MBA and Executive MBA programs, including foreign business excursions, residency weeks, orientations, recruiting events, alumni events, etc. This position will also assist with some office management responsibilities. This is a full-time non-exempt position working on sight.
What you'll do in this position:
MBA Event Planning - executive all events associated with the MBA programs including student recruiting and orientation events, as well as competition, recognition, career service and alumni events.
Class logistics and events for the Executive MBA (EMBA) program including Epic Learning Adventure in Moab and foreign business excursions.
Collaborate with various office management tasks including student team hiring and management, inventory, and travel management.
Manage MBA marketing items and gifts including budget projections, procurement, and inventory, and ensure design consistency. What qualifies you for this role:
Required
A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
Associate degree and two years professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred
Bachelor's degree and experience with experience design or event planning Skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications
Project management/events management
Ability to work within a budget
Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well with others
Professionalism
Familiarity with the MBA and Executive MBA programs preferred What we offer in return:

Compensation Range
Actual compensation based on education and experience
$22.00 - $28.57
