Job Overview:
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a project management professional to be part of our PMO's Project Delivery Team. This project manager's role is responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of strategic projects, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives and policy-mandated efforts such as establishing and maintaining the Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC) and Beneficiary Advisory Council (BAC). As a Project Manager overseeing Medicaid Advisory & AI Initiatives, your responsibilities will include:
End-to-End Project Oversight: Manages the full project lifecycle-covering integration, scope, time, quality, human resources, communication, risk, and procurement management-leveraging Smartsheet for project tracking and reporting.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead projects with diverse teams-comprising subject matter experts, business process analysts, and external vendors-ensuring collaboration and timely delivery.
Comprehensive Project Development: Develop and execute detailed project scopes, plans, and timelines, including definition, verification, and development phases, to achieve strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with key internal and external stakeholders, including agency management, staff, and partner state agencies to ensure effective delivery of project outcomes that comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications
3 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file (e.g., specific human service program area, management information sciences, fiscal); 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
-Or successful completion of 2 yrs. post-secondary education majoring in business administration, public administration, computer science/information technology, social science, or health, with major being commensurate with project to be assigned; 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
