Calibration Technician

Trillium Staffing is now hiring a Calibration Technician for direct-hire in Towaco, NJ!

Annual Salary starts at $50k. Senior-level individuals may be considered with pay rate up to $60k.

Schedule of M-F 8am-5pm though some flexibility on hours may be possible. Benefits include health/life/disability insurance, 401k, and paid vacations/holidays.

The organization manufactures equipment used to measure the radiation produced by diagnostic X-ray generators used in hospitals and various types of doctor’s offices/medical clinics. In this position you would be responsible for calibrating, servicing, and supporting these products to their clients, and would require maintaining ISO17025 standards.

Duties:

-Calibrate company manufactured equipment.

-Perform calibration routines in compliance with the quality management systems.

-Create and document service reports into company management systems.

-Transfer standards when standards are updated.

-Service and repair of company equipment.

-Provide application support to customers via e-mail, phone, and internet.

-Work in a time sensitive detail-oriented environment.

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:

-Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience in service based industry.

-Working understanding of QMS.

-Knowledge of statistical analysis.

-Skilled use of internet applications, MS Windows and Office Suite with emphasis on Excel.

-Self motivated.

-Ability to work independently after receiving appropriate direction.

-Good interpersonal communication skills via e-mail, phone, and in-person.

-Ability to communicate technical information effectively both verbally and written.

-Detail oriented with the capability to multitask and handle a fast paced work environment.

-Proven ability to quickly learn new subject matter.

-Problem solving and optimization abilities.

-Team worker with a strong sense of personal responsibility to grow business.

-Effective organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.

-The ability to create customer value and competitive advantage.

-Knowledge of medical X-ray imaging is preferred. Knowledge of the operation of measurement equipment is preferred.

-Knowledge of measurement fundamentals: traceability, repeatability, uncertainty analysis, unit conversion, cause-effet/what-if analysis or ASQ CCT (certified calibration tech) is preferred.

-Experience with programming languages is preferred.

-1-3 years of metrology experience is preferred.
