Key Responsibilities:
Design and Develop: Create mechanical components and assemblies for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell systems, prioritizing performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to integrate designs seamlessly into high-volume production.
Optimize Designs: Utilize DFM principles to ensure designs are cost-effective and scalable while upholding exceptional quality standards.
Engineering Analysis: Conduct detailed engineering analysis and simulations to validate that mechanical designs meet rigorous technical and regulatory standards.
Documentation: Generate comprehensive CAD models and drawings to support the manufacturing process, along with documentation for ongoing product enhancements.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the advancement of products by integrating feedback from testing, field performance, and customer insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product design and development, preferably in fuel cells, energy systems, or other high-tech industries.
Strong proficiency in DFM and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
Advanced proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, along with experience in FEA/CFD analysis.
Able to tackle complex technical challenges, utilizing creative problem-solving in a dynamic work environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, ensuring effective collaboration across various departments.
