The Application Support Coordinator will support the Application Engineer in meeting National Account customer needs with an electrical distribution solution to be provided by either Eaton or ABB (formerly GE). They will focus on ensuring all deliverables are executed with the highest standards supporting the growth of the customer's business through order entry, system navigation, excellent communication, and electrical distribution equipment knowledge. This position is full-time, based in Columbus, OH and reports to the Manager, Materials Team.

What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team:

Partners with Application Engineer to build skills in one-line layouts and application of equipment, wiring diagrams and schematic development, component selection, and verification of applicable codes and standards.

Build priorities based upon guidance from Application Support Lead and / or Application Engineer, as well as provided project timelines.

Discuss first level escalations with Application Support Lead.

Completes order entry and management of electrical distribution orders across National Accounts as well as any other assigned administrative task.

Supports post order issues, displaying effective communication internally and externally throughout the cycle.

Cross-functionally collaborates with team members to provide a superior customer experience, ensuring timelines and goals are met.

Prioritizes project execution and is responsible for resolution of all escalations, troubleshoots, and proactively eliminates account challenges within their scope of responsibility. Asks for assistance as needed for complex issues and ensures manager is advised of challenges.

Can effectively navigate existing information in systems and asks questions to fully understand client's needs.

Partner with Application Support Lead and Application Engineer to understand pricing expectations.

Utilizes several internal and external technologies for data entry.

Navigation of Eclipse to understand inventory levels, following the best practices as outlined through Standard Operating Procedures.

Meets set timelines for quote compilation and delivery, submittals, and proposals, under the direction of the Application Support Lead and Application Engineer, engaging Sales Executives, and Account Managers as needed.

Completes electrical construction takeoffs and drawing assessments with accuracy, under the direction of the Application Engineer.

Interfaces with multiple client-specific web portals to access data, drawings, and provide responses as needed.

Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Maintains ethical, cooperative customer relationships consistent with company image, mission, vision, and values. Experience:

Basic knowledge of electrical distribution systems.

2+ years of electrical distribution solution planning experience.

Experience in distribution.

Experience working with Fortune 100 companies. Core Competencies:

Experience in reading wiring diagrams.

Basic knowledge of electrical design standards.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

Data entry and navigation. Education:

Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar preferred) or associate's degree in engineering.

High School Diploma or GED required. Nice to have:

Epicor Solar Eclipse experience.

BidMan (Eaton) and Empower (ABB) experience.
