JOB SUMMARY:

Join Andy Frain Services as a motivated and multi-tasking Director of Security Operations. This role is essential for managing our Security contracts, ensuring accountability of Supervisors and staff, and overseeing the performance, service, and budget of all assigned contracts. Your mission will be to foster a secure environment for all employees, vendors, and customers while building productive relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services. A professional image and exceptional leadership skills are essential in this multifaceted position.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Oversee all aspects of security operations, ensuring employee accountability and service excellence.

Provide leadership at assigned client sites, enforcing security protocols, conducting inspections, and ensuring accurate reporting.

Develop and implement security measures in accordance with company and legal guidelines while maintaining familiarity with emergency response procedures.

Maintain essential security systems and coordinate with contractors for repairs and maintenance.

Utilize various communication devices and software to enhance operational effectiveness, ensuring vehicle inspections and maintenance.

Counsel and discipline security personnel, documenting essential actions and communicating with management as needed.

Assist with onboarding and training of Security Officers, securing their understanding of job duties.

Foster regular communication with the Operations Manager regarding account and officer performance.

Assist with payroll processing and personnel matters as designated.

Ensure adequate security staffing at all times in collaboration with management.

Conduct scheduled inspections of posts and meet with staff to clarify their responsibilities.

Engage with clients regularly to confirm that security requirements are met and service quality is high.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree preferred.

Willingness to undergo a background check; employment contingent on successful clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a comparable combination of education and experience.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in loss prevention and life safety systems, including 1 year in a management role in the security sector.

Valid Driver's License required.

Compliance with state licensing requirements is mandatory.

CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Additional qualifications may enhance your application.

Thorough understanding of facility layout and customer operational requirements.

Ability to implement customers’ safety and security protocols efficiently.

Experience in designing effective security staffing and operational plans.

Proficient in identifying recruitment sources and fostering applicable relationships.

Adept at training and mentoring security staff for optimal performance.

Capable of managing administrative duties related to payroll and reporting.

Skilled in developing processes to enhance safety and security protocols.

Experience in creating effective training programs that enhance team performance.

Ability to implement compliance-based safety programs.

Proficient in drafting clear post orders and internal procedural documents.

Strong customer service skills and results-driven mindset.

Exceptional interpersonal skills suitable for diverse interactions.

WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands):

Must maintain composure while interacting with authorities, clients, and the public in stressful situations.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to dynamic environments.

Must frequently utilize basic computer skills and communicate effectively.

Physical requirements include the capability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.

Must be prepared to work in various weather conditions and handle sensitive information.

Ability to meet specific standards for background checks and licensing requirements.
