Mechanical Engineering Sales Manager

Salary: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales applications engineering staff to achieve optimal performance.
Spend approximately 30% of work hours engaging clients via telephone, handling twenty to twenty-five calls daily.
Manage the Request For Quote process, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
Conduct regular meetings with the sales applications engineering team to review performance and set objectives.
Provide technical assistance and support to customers, helping them understand the products and resolve any issues.
Review engineering drawings and customer quotes to ensure accuracy and technical compliance.
Apply engineering expertise to the development and customization of company products to meet client needs.
Analyze customer needs and collaborate with sales professionals to provide appropriate, alternative solutions. Minimum Position Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
At least ten years of experience in management.
Five years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience.
Two years of experience in industrial sales applications.
A strong mechanical aptitude and skill in using industry-specific engineering software.
Legal status to work in the U.S. (citizen or Green Card holder).
Residence within a 45-minute drive of Richfield, Wisconsin. Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience with combustion systems and their applications.
Experience in environmental or green technologies is highly advantageous.
