Position Summary

LOCATION: Studio TK Clayton, NC

REPORTS TO: President, Studio TK

As we continue on our rapid growth journey, we are looking to add a Manager of Human Resources as a key member of our leadership team, reporting to the President of Studio TK. As the Manager of Human Resources, you will be responsible helping facilitate and execute our overall people and culture strategy, ensuring we have the right talent, processes and procedures across our entire business. We are an integrated business which means that this role will span across multiple disciplines. We are seeking a leader who has experience working in a dynamic environment with expertise working in manufacturing, marketing, product development and sales environments with a Human Resources lens.

Specific Accountabilities

Develops and communicates workplace policies and programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, performance appraisals, equal employment opportunities, compliance, and employee relations • Develop strategies that align with Studio TK's overall business objectives

Partner with multiple Human Resources departments across the entire Teknion network to ensure cross pollination and collaboration when it comes to new ventures or shared policies

Support the maintenance and compliance of human resources information systems and payroll systems

Plans and directs staffing and organization activities including recruitment and screening of candidates, interviewing and testing, reference and background checks, managing recruiters as necessary, as well as the job offer process. Includes responsibility of prudent management of recruiting costs, internal posting system and updating of organizational charts and distribution lists.

Maintain list of open roles and positions with clear understanding of tie back to budget and timing

Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies and practices comply with federal, state and local law.

Be a lead ambassador of our culture and shared values

Manage design and delivery of training programs, specifically regarding our manufacturing team members

Analyze and develop compensation strategies which include the support of annual increase process, salary ranges and promotions

Serve as a member of the senior leadership team and provide thought leadership and guidance to your colleagues as it pertains to all things Human Resources related. Qualifications/Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent; and 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHR, SHRM or equivalent certification preferred

Knowledge of local, state and federal employment law

Experience developing and communicating human resources policies and programs for a multi-state organization.

Benefits design experience.

Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Supervisory experience (both professional and clerical staff).
