Note: Candidates with prior SAP IBP project implementation experience are required.

Job Description:

Cognizant, in partnership with John Deere and GSK Solutions, is seeking an experienced SAP IBP Consultant with deep expertise in Integrated Business Planning for a remote engagement. This role requires hands-on implementation, functional configuration, and solution design experience in SAP IBP Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Planning modules. Candidates must also demonstrate solid knowledge of supply chain processes and cloud integration.

Specialty Areas:

• SAP IBP Expertise – Demand Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, and configuration.

• Supply Chain Planning – Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.

• Integration Tools – SAP Cloud Integration Data Services (CI-DS).

• Technical & Functional Analysis – Analytical troubleshooting, batch support, and SAP HANA views.

• Agile Methodology – Experience working in Agile teams with collaborative knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation and configuration of SAP IBP solutions.

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and synthesize business requirements.

• Provide functional design and configuration across SAP IBP modules, focusing on Demand Planning and S&OP.

• Ensure seamless integration using SAP CI-DS.

• Work across tech stack for support issues: batch jobs, HANA view changes, debugging.

• Support continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and contributing to Agile ceremonies.

• Provide ongoing functional and technical support post-deployment.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of SAP implementation experience with 3+ years in SAP IBP.

• Functional configuration and solution design in SAP IBP Demand Planning and S&OP.

• Hands-on experience with SAP CI-DS.

• Strong communication and analytical skills.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP IBP Certification.

• Ability to read and write ABAP code.

• Familiarity with SAP Sequencing processes.

• Prior experience working on-site with product teams (optional but preferred).
