CNC Programmer/Operator

Pay: $25 - $30 depending on experience

Hours: 6am - 2:00pm

Location: Elgin, IL

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking a trained machinist who can manage and operate our CNC machining department.

This position offers the chance to work independently while also offering other opportunities to learn.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be a skilled machinist who can work independently

Must be able to program, setup, and run Mazak Quick Turn 250 Lathe & Fanuc Robodrill D14MiA5 machines

Must be knowledgeable in interpreting prints and checking your own work.

Helpful if knowledgeable in operating typical tool room equipment i.e.: Vertical Mills, Lathes, Drill Presses

Helpful if knowledgeable in off-line programming using SolidWorks or other software

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Trained in computers, programming, operation, and numerical control of machines.

Completion of a training program as a machinist with several years of practical experience.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time as required.

Possess physical strength to be able to handle die parts, use hand tools, move material in and out of lathes, mills, etc.

Ability to accurately program and set-up machines until print specifications are met.

Flexibility to support production requirements in an accurate and timely fashion.

Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of employees.
