Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly capable and self-sufficient Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our e-commerce fulfillment center in Ridgefield, NJ. This individual will serve as the on-site leader, managing the warehouse independently while collaborating with a remote leadership team across time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and outbound shipments

Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of e-commerce orders and B2B retailer shipments

Review, understand, and implement retailer routing guides (Target, Nordstrom, Macy’s, etc.)

Enforce OSHA compliance and internal safety protocols to maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse

Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff as needed

Monitor KPIs such as same-day shipping rate, order accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and labor efficiency

Partner with remote operations leadership to continuously improve processes

Manage warehouse layout optimization and slotting

Ensure compliance with carrier and retailer shipping requirements

Coordinate with customer service and account teams to resolve issues quickly

Requirements:

5+ years of warehouse management experience

Strong working knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures

Deep experience with e-commerce fulfillment workflows and systems

Demonstrated success working independently with limited supervision

Strong knowledge of retailer compliance requirements and routing guides

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), scan-based workflows, and basic analytics

Ability to lead teams, solve problems on the fly, and enforce process discipline

Excellent written and verbal communication

Nice to Have:

Experience with Logiwa or similar WMS

Familiarity with small parcel, LTL, and FTL shipping

Background in shipping regulated or high-value goods (e.g., fragrances, jewelry)
