Responsibilities

Settlement, recording, and reporting of bilateral and Independent System Operator energy transactions.

Ensure accuracy of deal capture system to counterparty confirmations and calculate short-term and long-term mark-to-market of power, gas and capacity transactions.

Review of daily/weekly/monthly ISO invoices and hedge settlements.

Provides support for voltage and black start cost recovery.

Track and report monthly weighted average cost of gas for fuel inventory, including gas balancing inventory and gas/coal storage inventory.

Reconcile assigned deals, research discrepancies and resolve differences with ISO’s and counterparties.

Review all open AR and AP prior to month end to ensure prompt payment to and from counterparties.

Month end close activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related degree.

4+ years of professional experience.

Microsoft Excel Advanced experience.

Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
