Irrigation, Landscape Lighting, Pool Technician

Job Description

Garner Exteriors is an expanding, fast paced design/build company that has 20 years of experience in the business. We are looking for an experienced and energetic individual to come aboard as an Irrigation, Low Voltage (landscape) lighting and/or pool technician. Our ideal candidate has some experience in each or some of these fields and is comfortable working independently, but we are willing to train applicants with basic mechanical skills and a good work ethic. Applicant must be willing to do physical labor and work in all seasonal elements. Applicant must be willing to expand and grow knowledge/skills as the position requires. Also, must be proficient with computers and other technology.

Irrigation/Low Voltage/Pool Technician Duties and Responsibilities

· Install irrigation or sprinkler systems, low voltage lighting systems, pool equipment

· Troubleshoot all types of systems for potential issues

· Follow proper start up procedures and complete winterizations of each system

· Make repairs as needed, provide estimates as needed, communicate with customers as needed

· Willing to work in different fields if needed (machinery, snow removal, landscaping, etc)

· High school diploma or GED certificate

· Some post-secondary training in irrigation or landscaping is preferred

· Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work

· Bilingual communication skills preferredCompany Description
