Welder/Fabricator

Wozair (USA) Limited – Conroe, TX 77304

Must have a minimum 5 years Mig/Tig welding experience.

Must have the ability to read fabrication drawings/blueprints.

Must be able to follow written instructions and quality certifiable procedures.

Mig and Tig welding is that on process uses a continuously feeding wire (MIG) and the other you use long welding rods and slowly feed them into the weld puddle (TIG).

Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.

Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.

Lay out, position, align and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straight edges, combination squares, calipers and rulers.

Examine work-pieces for defects and measure work-pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.

Recognize, set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.

Employer will also do pre-employment welding test.

Verify conformance or work pieces to specifications using squares, rulers and measuring tapes.

Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars and hammers.

Move parts into position manually or with hoists or cranes.

Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits following blueprints and layout specifications and using jigs, welding torches and hand tools.

Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences.

Candidates must pass drug screen and background check.

1 year college, technical or vocational school.

Valid Driver's License

Benefits include vacation days and full medical. Location is in Conroe, Texas. Pay details will be dependent on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Shift days (first) duration Regular Monday-Thursday 6:45am - 5:00 pm. No Fridays unless overtime is required.

Salary: $23.51 per hour
