CNC Machinist 2nd-Shift

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a CNC Machinist- 2nd Shift for a reputable company based in Travelers, Rest, SC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment. Pay Rate

$19.00- $23.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm- 1:30 am

CNC Machinist Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes and/or mills) to manufacture metal components according to precise specifications.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.

• Complete required documentation and production reports accurately and on time.

CNC Machinist Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Basic math and computer skills; experience with CNC programming (G-code or M-code) is a plus.

• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.

• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, or grinders preferred).
