Job Description

We are seeking a skilled machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machines to produce precision parts and ensuring the quality of machined components. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Complete machine set-up sheets and prepare machines for production.

Conduct quality control checks during shifts to ensure parts meet specifications.

Acquire parts for machining using forklift or pallet jack.

Interpret blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions to meet production requirements.

Machine parts to specified dimensions and inspect them for conformance.

Make adjustments based on quality data to ensure precision.

Move machined parts to designated areas for further processing.

Replace worn tooling and return tooling upon job completion.

Suggest improved machining methods for job efficiency.

Adhere to OSHA and ISO standards and follow established safety procedures.

Perform daily preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines.

Maintain cleanliness of the building through daily housekeeping duties.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
