Outside Sales Representative

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Cultivate and expand customer relationships: Proactively build and maintain strong connections with existing and potential clients within the designated territory.

Identify and qualify new business opportunities: Conduct thorough research to pinpoint promising leads and assess their potential for growth.

Drive regional growth: Develop and execute strategies to capitalize on new product introductions, account acquisition, market share expansion, and entry into new segments, channels, and geographic areas.

Achieve sales targets: Implement detailed sales plans, including:

Conducting proactive outreach (calls, visits, presentations) to build a robust sales pipeline.

Revitalizing dormant accounts with targeted strategies.

Managing product pricing for assigned customers.

Demonstrating strong time management and accountability for sales performance.

Resolving customer issues promptly and effectively.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and market trends.

Complete assigned projects: Fulfill other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.

Prior experience in industrial sales is highly preferred.

Demonstrated excellence in both verbal and written communication.

Proficiency in MS Office and strong general computer skills are essential.

Must be willing to travel.
