SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

Level I Service Technician works with assistance/guidance from a Senior (Level II) Technician, as noted below:

• Baseline knowledge of basic electrical systems and commercial HVAC, including RTUs up to 100 tons, DX Split Systems, VAV Boxes, Chillers, Cooling Towers and Pumps

• Installation of communication wire, conduit, device boxes, and panels

• Must be familiar with Field Programming Tools, including Honeywell AX Wizards, and Johnson PCT, CCT, and HVAC PRO

• Must be able to Change controllers, rewire and download controls program(s), test and verify sequence of operations.

• Knowledge and ability to read blueprints a plus

• Must be able to climb a ladder.

• Must be able to work in an office or in the field

• Other duties as assigned, per administration

• Work with Team Lead/PM to ensure service/projects are completed on time; tools & materials are on site; job-site clean up; submit Service Ticket(s) upon completion of service; email/text updates to Team Lead/PM as needed

• Professionalism and good communications skills required

• Some travel is involved, including possible overnight On average - 40% travel (Typical - 1-2 weeks/ month - e.g., Houston/Lubbock/Arkansas/Oklahoma)
