Job Description
These positions are responsible for the overall operation of the machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality products while meeting deadlines in a safe manner. Additional responsibilities include training and providing general direction to Assistant Machine Operators, assisting with creating SOPs and other production-related documentation, inventory data entry, and cross-training into other job functions as needed. This position requires routine attendance at departmental, production, safety, and company meetings.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery to produce quality products.
Train and provide direction to Assistant Machine Operators.
Assist in creating SOPs and other production documentation.
Perform inventory data entry.
Cross-train into other job functions as needed.
Attend departmental, production, safety, and company meetings.
Operate sit-down forklift to feed materials into grinding machines.
Bag rubber crumbs produced by the grinding machine.Essential Skills
1+ years of manufacturing experience.
Machine operation experience.
Sit-down forklift operation experience.
High School Diploma/GED.
Proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment.
Experience with overhead crane operation.
Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.
Machine setup and troubleshooting skills.
The shift for this position is 2nd shift, from 2:45 pm to 11 pm, with occasional Saturday shifts (1-2 times per month).
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of YORK, Pennsylvania.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
