Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Utilize specialized skill sets to support the maintenance and optimal operating condition of a variety of equipment using company-approved food safety practices and policies. Decrease equipment downtime utilizing training and skills.
Responsibilities
Perform corrective and emergency maintenance on food packaging/processing equipment and facility equipment to maximize equipment uptime.
Complete assigned scheduled preventative maintenance and work orders to increase asset life.
Document daily activities and work performed, including equipment repairs from breakdowns, work orders, or scheduled preventative maintenance. Assist in maintaining departmental records.
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced mechanical/electrical issues within specialized skill sets.
Repair and/or rebuild pumps, mills, gearboxes, and other miscellaneous mechanical entities.
Assist other maintenance mechanics in troubleshooting advanced equipment problems using specialized skill sets. Train and document training activities.
Promote, adhere to, and be responsible for Food Safety and Quality.
Perform any other duties as assigned.Essential Skills

Experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills and/or specialized training
Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations
Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical information

Work Environment
The work environment involves food and beverage manufacturing with adherence to GMP standards. Employees will experience cold and hot conditions depending on the area, as well as wet and humid conditions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Saginaw, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
