Punch Press Operator - 1st Shift - Up to $25/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator to set up and operate Amada 357 Punch Press. This role involves repetitive work with steel beams, performing quality checks, and supporting other fabricator duties as needed. Cross-training on Press Brake and completing various value-added processes are also integral to this position.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Amada 357 Punch Press.

Load 4x10 steel beams into the press repetitively.

Perform initial quality check of parts against blueprints.

Cross-train on Press Brake and operate based on production schedule.

Complete value-added processes such as drilling, tapping, post-machining, deburring, and polishing.

Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on processing equipment.

Read, analyze, and interpret technical information on blueprints.Essential Skills

2+ years of CNC machine operating experience.

Ability to read blueprints.

Experience using calipers and gauges.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
