Job Title: CNC Machinist (Mill/Lathe)

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $25-$35 DOE.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both CNC milling and lathe machines.

Must have experience in aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our high-performance parts by interpreting technical drawings, maintaining tight tolerances, and collaborating across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC milling machines and CNC/manual lathes to machine plastic aerospace components.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.

Inspect parts throughout the machining process using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure conformance to specifications.

Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to optimize quality and efficiency.

Maintain accurate and timely production and inspection records.

Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, tool calibration, and minor repairs; report any issues promptly.

Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to troubleshoot machining challenges.

Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company and industry-standard safety protocols.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in machining or manufacturing preferred.

3-5 years of experience operating CNC and/or manual lathes in a manufacturing environment (aerospace experience strongly preferred).

Proficient in reading blueprints, GD&T, and using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Experience working with plastic materials and understanding their unique machining characteristics.

Familiarity with AS9100 or other aerospace quality standards is a plus.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
