2nd Shift Material Handler

3:30 pm- 2:30 am M-Th

Redmond, WA

Job Description

As a 2nd Shift Material Handler, you will be responsible for executing the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, and supplies. You will also maintain accurate records of materials and inventory. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment. A proactive approach to safety and quality is essential, with the capacity to speak up and address issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

Perform physical and administrative tasks for receiving, storing, and distributing materials.

Maintain accurate records of materials and inventory.

Exhibit attention to detail in all tasks.

Identify and address safety and quality issues promptly.

Learn and adapt to new processes, systems, and equipment.Essential Skills

Material handling experience.

Warehouse experience.

Computer skills.

Manufacturing experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.

Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.

Ability to carry out verbal instructions and communicate verbally in English.

Adherence to safety practices, including good housekeeping and ergonomics.

Preferred experience in manufacturing.

Work Environment

The role requires exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds constantly. You must have good visual perception and fine motor skills, and be able to follow detailed instructions and complete documentation accurately. The work environment is busy, collaborative, and diverse, involving work with cross-functional teams and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, Washington.

The pay range for this position is $24.80 - $24.80/hr.
