Job Title: Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of machining production, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.

Lead and manage production teams, including machinists and supervisors, in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools.

Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment with customer specifications and internal standards.

Analyze production metrics and implement cost reduction strategies to improve operational efficiency.

Maintain compliance with aerospace industry standards and customer requirements.

Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a Production or Operations Management role within a machining environment.

Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly preferred.

Proven success in implementing LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong leadership and team development skills.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities.

Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.

Experience with AS9100 or other aerospace quality standards.

Background in CNC machining and precision manufacturing.
