Located in Union City, CA

Salary: $24.00-$25.00

Key Responsibilities:

Driving local in Bay area making residential deliveries for plumbing supplies, total number of customer stops based on route.

Safely load and secure the truck prior to making deliveries.

Unload correct merchandise and place it where the receiving party desires.

Work in the warehouse to pull orders on a as needed basis and be comfortable to use a stand-up forklift and reach truck.

Quick, Efficient and knowledgeable.

Inspect the truck and required parts to determine safe operating condition prior to delivery, and inform supervisor of any mechanical problems.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years delivery driving experience with driving, loading & unloading.

Driving 18' Sprinter truck and able to drive Automatic Transmission.

Possess basic computer literacy.

Know laws, rules, and regulations governing driving motor vehicles, as well as commercial vehicles subject to DOT regulations.

Ideal candidate will pull orders when not on delivery route.

Education:

HS Diploma or GED

Equipment Used:

RF Scanner, Hand Truck, Stand-up forklift, Reach Truck

Physical Requirements:

Able to load & unload plumbing supplies.

Pull, push and move upto 50 lbs.

Qualities Preferred:

Warehouse/Delivery Driver with ability to load and unload.

The job requires to work in a warehouse pulling orders and operating a forklift.

Must possess strong attention to detail.
