Position Overview: The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling machines and systems to meet customer specifications and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Assemble machines and systems from drawings and verbal instructions.
Record changes to machine parts and assemblies on engineering drawings using established procedures.
Follow machine diagrams
Qualifications:
High school diploma or trade school certification.
Knowledge of basic machine assembly.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Familiarity with hand tools (e.g., wrenches, pliers, power drills
Job Specifications:
Physical activity includes standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, and bending.
Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force.
Manufacturing environment with exposure to high noise levels and physical hazards, including moving mechanical parts and electrical currents.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
Salary: $20-24/hr
