Full-Time Nanny - TriBeCa

An active and welcoming family in TriBeCa, New York, is seeking a dedicated live-out career nanny to care for their two young children, a 20-month-old and a 3-month-old. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8am to 6pm, with occasional flexibility as needed. For the right fit the family is willing to adjust hours a bit. The family is looking for someone who is energetic, organized, and passionate about early childhood education. They hope to find a nanny who can foster developmental milestones, encourage a love for reading through engaging story-time sessions, and create a nurturing and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate should be loving, caring, and professional, with the ability to seamlessly integrate into the family's routine. As the family travels internationally, they are seeking someone who is comfortable with occasional travel and adaptable to different environments. Additionally, the household includes a small dog, so the nanny should be comfortable around pets.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

All tasks related to the care of the children (feeding, bathing, diaper changes, etc.)

Organizing playdates and planning fun, educational activities

Keeping track of household needs and providing support when necessary

Cooking and laundry for the children (and ideally light cooking for the family)

Qualifications

Light cooking for the family

A childhood education background is preferred but is not required

French preferred but not required
