Pay Rate: 85,000-102,000- Based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Mondayâ Friday, with occasional overtime as needed-on-site
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead human resources functions within a fast-paced distribution center environment. This position will serve as a strategic HR partner to leadership while providing day-to-day support for employees and frontline managers. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR generalist with deep knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, talent development, and workforce planning, with the ability to effectively support operations from a strong HR foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion HR best practices while supporting the operational needs of the business.
Lead full-cycle HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the distribution center floor to build trust, gather feedback, and respond in real-time to workforce needs.
Serve as a key liaison between hourly employees, leadership, and the HR team to ensure consistent communication, fairness, and engagement.
Conduct investigations and provide support in conflict resolution, coaching conversations, and employee discipline when necessary.
Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, EEOC, etc.).
Partner with Safety and Operations teams to support and uphold workplace safety initiatives.
Maintain and update employee records, process HR documentation, and support audit readiness.
Assist in workforce planning and help drive retention and talent development strategies.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts by fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace.
Utilize HR systems (such as Paylocity) and Microsoft Office tools to support reporting and data accuracy.
Respond to inquiries from employees and leaders with professionalism, confidentiality, and urgency.
Train and coach managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and company expectations.
Take initiative and demonstrate resourcefulness in addressing HR challenges and proposing solutions.
Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelorâ s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in an HR leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
In-depth knowledge of HR laws and practices applicable to high-volume work environments.
Strong conflict-resolution, coaching, and investigation skills.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and emotional intelligence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (such as ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, etc.).
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize responsibilities with accuracy.
Must be collaborative, approachable, and able to support both strategy and tactical needs.
Must be able to work full-time onsite in Brown Summit, NC.
