HHM Health is seeking a highly skilled eClinicalWorks (eCW) Trainer and Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

This role involves the development, implementation, and facilitation of comprehensive eCW training programs tailored to a variety of clinical staff, including physicians, residents, advanced practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the eCW system and be able to create engaging training materials and sessions that enhance user proficiency and confidence.

In addition to training responsibilities, this position will play a critical role in supporting clinical leadership by providing valuable clinical and operational insights derived from thorough analysis of EMR data. This includes generating detailed reports that inform decision-making and drive improvements in clinical practice. Collaboration will be a key aspect of this role, as the eCW Trainer and Data Analyst will also work closely with our Quality Team to ensure alignment with best practices and to promote continuous quality improvement initiatives across the organization.

Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do:

Training and User Support:

Design and deliver customized eCW training for new and existing staff, including providers, medical assistants, and residents

Conduct group training sessions, one-on-one sessions, and on-the-floor support during onboarding and go-lives

Develop and update training materials, user guides, quick reference sheets, and videos

Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and IT for eCW-related needs and enhancements

Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for workflow optimization

Workflow Optimization and Change Management:

Partner with clinical leadership and quality teams to assess workflows and recommend EMR-driven solutions

Support template creation and documentation standards to enhance clinical efficiency

Monitor documentation and charting patterns for providers, advanced practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

Data Reporting and Analysis:

Extract and analyze data from eCW and associated dashboards (eBO, Provider Hub, etc.)

Prepare and deliver reports on provider productivity, quality metrics (e.g., HEDIS, UDS), and operational KPIs

Collaborate with department heads to develop actionable insights from data to improve clinical and operational performance

What you need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, IT, or related field

3+ years of direct experience with eClinicalWorks, including training and template development

Experience working in a clinical setting (e.g., FQHC, hospital, or outpatient clinic)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and support providers at various experience levels

Proficiency in Excel, data dashboards, and EMR reporting tools

Familiarity with HEDIS, UDS, and CMS quality reporting is a plus

Experience with resident training and academic environments preferred

Certification in eClinicalWorks (if available) is a plus
