Job Description
We are a rapidly growing, multi-state law firm headquartered in Carrollton, TX, and we are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Specialist with expertise in VMware ESXI, Horizon VDI, and SAN/VSAN storage solutions to design, implement, and maintain our IT infrastructure.
This role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of our virtualized and storage environments to support critical business operations.
VMware Virtualization & VDI
Administer and maintain VMware ESXi environments for server virtualization.
Design, configure, and manage VMware Horizon VDI deployments to ensure high availability and performance.
Optimize virtual networking components, including distributed virtual switches and VLANs.
Storage Solutions
Manage and maintain Storage Area Networks (SAN), including VSAN and traditional SAN infrastructures.
Ensure seamless integration between storage solutions and VMware environments.
Monitor and optimize storage performance for virtualized workloads.
Network Infrastructure & Security
Design and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity to support virtualized environments.
Implement secure remote access solutions (VPNs) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Optimize network performance, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
Physical Infrastructure & Documentation
Maintain an organized rack and cabling environment for network and server hardware.
Develop and update technical documentation, including network diagrams and operational procedures.
Support & Troubleshooting
Provide escalation support for complex virtualization and network issues.
Partner with the team to ensure seamless infrastructure integration where needed.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Juniper or Palo Alto networking technologies.
Familiarity with network segmentation and access control policies.
Work Environment:
This role requires 100% on-site work.
Availability for after-hours maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting as needed.
