Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Salary: $18 - $20/hr

The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall upkeep and appearance of the property, including but not limited to, common areas, grounds, and apartments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments, common areas, and grounds as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager

Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely manner

Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management

Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner

Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment

Follow all safety procedures and regulations

Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 6 months - 1 year of experience in apartment maintenance or related field

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

8 am - 5 pm

Sometimes on call during weekends

Pay:

$18 - $20/hr.
