Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating top-line revenue through proactive sales efforts targeting corporate, government, group, and leisure segments. This role includes developing client relationships, conducting site tours, and representing the hotel in the local community and industry events. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills and a strategic approach to sales.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and solicit new business through direct sales calls, networking, and marketing efforts.

Maintain existing accounts and build long-term relationships to drive repeat business.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.

Conduct property tours, respond to RFPs, and negotiate contracts.

Track sales activity through CRM tools and prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.

Collaborate with the General Manager and corporate team on promotions, pricing strategies, and business planning.

Represent the hotel at local networking events, industry trade shows, and community functions.

Work closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and operations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. Qualifications

2+ years of hotel sales experience preferred (Hampton or Hilton brand experience a plus).

Strong knowledge of local market and hospitality trends.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales platforms (e.g., Delphi, Opera, or similar CRM systems).

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred. Benefits
