What You Will Do

The Operational Excellence Project Manager is responsible for planning and implementing projects focused on enhancing organizational operations and initiatives. This entails developing comprehensive project plans that detail activities, timelines, resources, and budgets, and ensuring these projects align with the broader goals of the organization, often employing methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma to optimize operations. Collaboration across various departments is crucial to ensure seamless project execution and to align project objectives with overall business goals.

Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve specific goals. This involves planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects. Optimize projects and program management practices.

Identify and analyze existing business processes that need improvement. Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline these processes, reduce waste, and enhance quality.

Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement. Report findings and make recommendations to senior management.

Collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, to align project goals with business objectives. Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Encourage and supporting ongoing efforts to enhance processes and systems. Coach and mentor staff in project management and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Ensure that projects and processes meet industry standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Allocate and manage resources (like staff, budget, and materials) efficiently for project execution.

Identify potential risks in project implementation and devise strategies to mitigate them.

Assist in the development of long-term operational strategies based on organizational goals and market trends Who You Are

You are a proactive and adaptable leader with strong analytical skills and the ability to facilitate teamwork and collaborate with stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Your broad understanding of process improvement methodologies enables you to take initiative and drive projects forward with minimal direction, meeting tight deadlines and communicating effectively with various audiences.

Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of experience in a directly related field required.

Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI a plus.

Experience with LIS or CRM.

Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge.

Intermediate to advanced MS Office knowledge.

Yellow, Green, or Black Belt Lean Six/Sigma training OR PMP or PMI certification is preferred.

Health care or lab experience preferred.

Capable of managing multiple projects with precision and attention to detail.

Public speaking skills that can be tailored to small and large groups, front-line to C-suite.

Familiarity with regulatory processes in a clinical context and an understanding of evolving regulatory expectations

Proficient with using Miro and LLM (e.g., ChatGPT). Benefits
