Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer with a strong background in endpoint security, data loss prevention (DLP), and secure private access technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of our enterprise systems by designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience working with Crowdstrike, Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Palo Alto (PA) Prisma, endpoint encryption (MS BitLocker), McAfee support, and associated firewall technologies. This role also requires excellent communication, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills to work effectively with both internal teams and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Endpoint Security & Encryption:
· Deploy, manage, and optimize Crowdstrike endpoint protection to ensure robust security across all devices and endpoints.
· Implement and manage MS BitLocker encryption to ensure data is encrypted on all endpoints, protecting against unauthorized access.
· Oversee McAfee endpoint protection, ensuring its proper configuration, management, and support within the organization.
Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Design and enforce DLP policies to safeguard sensitive data across the organization. Ensure compliance with data security standards and manage DLP incidents effectively.
Secure Private Access: Implement and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) solutions to deliver secure internet access and private application connectivity for remote users.
Firewall Management: Oversee the configuration and maintenance of Palo Alto Prisma (PA) and firewall appliances to protect the network perimeter and internal resources.
Security Incident Response: Participate in security incident response, analyzing threats, mitigating vulnerabilities, and identifying areas of improvement.
Vulnerability Management: Work proactively to identify vulnerabilities, patching, and remediation activities for both internal and external-facing infrastructure.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT, network teams, and business units to ensure alignment on security initiatives and to ensure smooth integration of security tools and protocols. Collaborate effectively with offshore teams to troubleshoot issues, implement security controls, and drive best practices.
Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation on security configurations, policies, and procedures. Ensure security policies and procedures are clearly documented and communicated to all relevant teams. Generate reports for upper management regarding system security posture and incident response.
Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, quickly identifying and resolving security issues and incidents to minimize downtime and impact. Use a methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving and bring issues to resolution with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise security engineering with hands-on experience in endpoint security, DLP, secure private access, firewall management, and endpoint encryption.
· Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose complex security issues and propose solutions.
Technical Expertise:
· Proficiency with Crowdstrike endpoint protection software.
· Strong experience with MS BitLocker encryption and endpoint data protection strategies.
· Hands-on experience with McAfee endpoint protection software and security suite.
· In-depth experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and secure private access protocols.
· Hands-on experience managing and configuring Palo Alto Prisma and firewalls.
· Strong knowledge of network security best practices and principles.
· Familiarity with SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and threat detection tools is a plus.
Soft Skills:

· Collaboration & Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, including collaborating with offshore teams across multiple time zones.

· Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Certifications:
· Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
· Specialized certifications in Crowdstrike, McAfee, and Palo Alto Networks are a plus.
